P2-REQ-16-7-003

Each Logical Interaction Pattern SHALL identify participating Logical Nodes or Logical Node Roles.

Part 2, Section 16.7: Logical Interaction Requirements.

Every Logical Interaction Pattern exists to describe collaboration among Logical Nodes. Identifying the participating Nodes or Roles establishes responsibility, enables architectural review, supports governance, and preserves traceability across the Logical Architecture.

This requirement applies to all Logical Interaction Patterns.

It applies specifically to:

  • Logical Interaction Patterns;
  • Logical Nodes;
  • Logical Node Roles; and
  • Logical Communication relationships.

Verification SHALL confirm that each Logical Interaction Pattern identifies the participating Logical Nodes or Logical Node Roles.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • participating Logical Nodes or Roles are identified;
  • participant responsibilities are clear;
  • interaction participants support traceability; and
  • Domain Logical Profiles preserve the identified participants.

This requirement supports traceability between Logical Interaction Patterns, participating Logical Nodes, and Logical Node Roles.
