P2-REQ-16-7-007

Each Logical Interaction Pattern SHALL identify Traceability expectations.

Part 2, Section 16.7: Logical Interaction Requirements.

Logical Interaction Patterns form important relationships among Logical Nodes, information, Runtime Planes, and governance. Explicitly identifying Traceability expectations enables architectural review, impact analysis, auditability, and consistent evolution of the Logical Architecture.

This requirement applies to all Logical Interaction Patterns.

It applies specifically to:

  • Logical Interaction Patterns;
  • Logical Traceability relationships;
  • Logical Nodes;
  • Logical Information; and
  • Logical Runtime Planes.

Verification SHALL confirm that each Logical Interaction Pattern identifies Traceability expectations.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • Traceability expectations are explicitly identified;
  • participating architectural elements can be traced;
  • Traceability supports architectural review; and
  • later profiles preserve the identified Traceability relationships.

This requirement supports traceability between Logical Interaction Patterns and the Logical Traceability Model.
