P2-REQ-16-5-007
Statement
A Logical Command SHALL represent a Logical Data Structure Instance expressing an intended action.
Source
Part 2, Section 16.5: Logical Information Requirements.
Rationale
Logical Commands communicate intended actions among Logical Nodes. Representing commands as Logical Data Structure Instances ensures that operational intent is modeled consistently while remaining independent of orchestration technologies, command protocols, or runtime infrastructure.
Applies To
This requirement applies to the Logical Information Model.
It applies specifically to:
-
Logical Commands;
-
Logical Data Structure Instances;
-
Logical Interaction Patterns; and
-
Logical Control Plane interactions.
Verification
Verification SHALL confirm that each Logical Command represents a Logical Data Structure Instance expressing an intended action.
Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:
-
Logical Commands are explicitly identified;
-
commands express intended actions;
-
Logical Commands remain platform independent; and
-
implementation technologies do not redefine Logical Commands.
Traceability
This requirement supports traceability between Logical Commands, the actions they express, and the Logical Interaction Patterns that exchange them.
