P2-REQ-16-7-005
Statement
Each Logical Interaction Pattern SHALL identify the Logical Data Structure Instances exchanged, recorded, or referenced.
Source
Part 2, Section 16.7: Logical Interaction Requirements.
Rationale
Logical Interaction Patterns describe the movement and use of information among Logical Nodes. Identifying the Logical Data Structure Instances involved preserves semantic meaning, supports interoperability, enables governance, and provides the basis for traceability throughout the Logical Architecture.
Applies To
This requirement applies to all Logical Interaction Patterns.
It applies specifically to:
-
Logical Interaction Patterns;
-
Logical Data Structure Instances;
-
Logical Communication Endpoints; and
-
Logical Information exchanges.
Verification
Verification SHALL confirm that each Logical Interaction Pattern identifies the Logical Data Structure Instances exchanged, recorded, or referenced.
Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:
-
Logical Data Structure Instances are explicitly identified;
-
exchanged, recorded, or referenced information is clearly described;
-
information supports the defined interaction; and
-
implementation technologies do not redefine logical information structures.
Traceability
This requirement supports traceability between Logical Interaction Patterns, Logical Data Structure Instances, and Logical Communication Endpoints.
