P2-REQ-16-7-006

Each Logical Interaction Pattern SHALL identify the Logical Runtime Plane(s) involved.

Part 2, Section 16.7: Logical Interaction Requirements.

Every Logical Interaction Pattern operates within one or more Logical Runtime Planes. Identifying the participating Runtime Planes preserves architectural separation of concerns, supports governance, and enables consistent reasoning about the purpose of each interaction.

This requirement applies to all Logical Interaction Patterns.

It applies specifically to:

  • Logical Interaction Patterns;
  • Logical Runtime Planes;
  • Logical Nodes; and
  • Logical Communication relationships.

Verification SHALL confirm that each Logical Interaction Pattern identifies the Logical Runtime Plane or Runtime Planes involved.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • participating Runtime Planes are explicitly identified;
  • Runtime Plane classifications support the architectural purpose of the interaction;
  • cross-plane interactions are identified where applicable; and
  • Runtime Plane classifications remain platform independent.

This requirement supports traceability between Logical Interaction Patterns and the Logical Runtime Planes in which they occur.
