P2-REQ-16-3-007

Logical Node Collaboration SHALL identify explicit logical cooperation among Logical Nodes through Communication Endpoints and interaction patterns.

Part 2, Section 16.3: Logical Node Requirements.

Logical Node Collaboration defines how Logical Nodes cooperate without introducing hidden dependencies or implementation-specific relationships. Explicit collaboration improves interoperability, reviewability, governance, and traceability.

This requirement applies to Logical Node collaboration throughout the Logical Architecture.

It applies specifically to:

  • Logical Nodes;
  • Logical Communication Endpoints;
  • Interaction Patterns; and
  • Domain Logical Profiles.

Verification SHALL confirm that Logical Node Collaboration identifies explicit cooperation among Logical Nodes.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • collaborations are explicitly identified;
  • Logical Nodes cooperate through Communication Endpoints;
  • interaction patterns describe the collaboration; and
  • hidden dependencies are avoided.

This requirement supports traceability between collaborating Logical Nodes, Communication Endpoints, and Logical Interaction Patterns.
