P4-REQ-21-7-006

The Phase 0 Implementation Profile / PSM SHALL define Audit and Provenance Plane realization for audit records, provenance records, replay requests, replay results, lineage, reconstruction, and evidence-supporting relationships.

Part 4, Section 21.7: Runtime Plane Realization Requirements.

The Audit and Provenance Plane preserves information needed for accountability, lineage, replay, reconstruction, review, and later evidence use.

Defining a Phase 0 realization ensures that audit and provenance concerns are treated as governed architectural responsibilities rather than ordinary implementation logging.

This requirement applies to:

  • audit records;
  • provenance records;
  • replay requests;
  • replay results;
  • lineage and reconstruction information; and
  • evidence-supporting implementation relationships.

Verification SHALL confirm that the Phase 0 Implementation Profile / PSM defines an Audit and Provenance Plane realization.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • audit records are supported;
  • provenance records are supported;
  • replay requests and replay results are supported where applicable;
  • lineage and reconstruction information is preserved; and
  • Audit and Provenance concerns remain distinct from ordinary logs and other Runtime Plane concerns.

This requirement establishes the Phase 0 realization of the FX Logical Audit and Provenance Plane.
