P4-REQ-21-14-005
Statement
Node implementation traceability SHALL relate FX logical Nodes and Node Roles to implementation participants and modules.
Source
Part 4, Section 21.14: Implementation Traceability Requirements.
Rationale
FX logical Nodes and Node Roles may be realized through different Phase 0 runtime participants, modules, or packaging arrangements.
Explicit Node implementation traceability preserves the relationship between logical responsibility and implementation realization even when one implementation participant realizes multiple Nodes or multiple implementation participants realize one Node.
Applies To
This requirement applies to:
-
FX logical Nodes;
-
FX logical Node Roles;
-
implementation participants;
-
implementation modules; and
-
runtime packaging mappings.
Verification
Verification SHALL confirm that Node implementation traceability relates FX logical Nodes and Node Roles to their implementation participants and modules.
Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:
-
implemented FX logical Nodes have identifiable participants or modules;
-
implemented Node Roles have identifiable realizations;
-
many-to-one and one-to-many mappings are recorded where applicable; and
-
runtime packaging does not obscure logical responsibility.
Traceability
This requirement establishes implementation traceability for FX logical Nodes and Node Roles.
