P4-REQ-21-3-002

The Phase 0 Implementation Profile / PSM SHALL identify DDS as the selected Phase 0 communication technology.

Part 4, Section 21.3: Technology Selection Requirements.

DDS provides the selected communication mechanism through which Phase 0 implementation participants realise applicable FX logical Communication Endpoints and interaction flows.

Explicitly identifying DDS as the Phase 0 communication technology establishes a controlled communication baseline while preserving the distinction between logical communication and its implementation realisation.

This requirement applies to:

  • Phase 0 implementation participants;
  • DDS Topics;
  • publishers and subscribers;
  • communication configuration; and
  • FX logical Communication Endpoint mappings.

Verification SHALL confirm that DDS is identified as the selected Phase 0 communication technology.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • Phase 0 communication mappings use DDS where required by the implementation baseline;
  • DDS Topics realise selected FX logical Communication Endpoints;
  • implementation participants use the applicable DDS communication mechanisms; and
  • DDS usage remains distinguishable from the logical endpoint definitions.

This requirement establishes the Phase 0 communication-technology realisation of selected FX logical Communication Endpoints.
