P4-REQ-21-3-001

The Phase 0 Implementation Profile / PSM SHALL identify the selected Phase 0 implementation technologies.

Part 4, Section 21.3: Technology Selection Requirements.

Explicit identification of the selected technologies establishes the technical implementation context for the Phase 0 baseline. It allows reviewers and contributors to distinguish governed Phase 0 technology choices from exploratory, alternative, or later-phase technologies.

Without explicit technology selections, implementation artefacts could depend on technologies that are not part of the approved Phase 0 baseline.

This requirement applies to:

  • the Phase 0 Implementation Profile / PSM;
  • Phase 0 implementation technologies;
  • implementation artefacts;
  • configuration and generation mechanisms; and
  • Phase 0 implementation review.

Verification SHALL confirm that the Phase 0 Implementation Profile / PSM explicitly identifies the technologies selected for Phase 0.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • selected communication technology is identified;
  • selected data definition mechanism is identified;
  • selected implementation language is identified;
  • selected communication behaviour controls are identified; and
  • supporting implementation mechanisms are identified.

This requirement establishes the technology-selection basis for the Phase 0 implementation baseline.
