P4-REQ-21-14-003
Statement
Implementation traceability SHALL support forward review from FX logical elements to Phase 0 implementation artifacts.
Source
Part 4, Section 21.14: Implementation Traceability Requirements.
Rationale
Forward traceability allows reviewers to begin with an FX logical element and determine how that element is realized within the Phase 0 implementation baseline.
This supports completeness review by making it possible to identify the implementation artifacts, mappings, configuration, and supporting concerns associated with selected FX logical elements.
Applies To
This requirement applies to:
-
FX logical Nodes and Node Roles;
-
Communication Endpoints;
-
information structures;
-
Runtime Planes;
-
interaction patterns; and
-
their Phase 0 implementation realizations.
Verification
Verification SHALL confirm that forward review from FX logical elements to Phase 0 implementation artifacts is supported.
Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:
-
selected FX logical elements have identifiable implementation mappings;
-
mapped implementation artifacts can be located;
-
relevant supporting artifacts can be identified; and
-
missing implementation mappings can be detected.
Traceability
This requirement establishes forward traceability from the Part 3 FX Demo Logical Profile into the Part 4 implementation baseline.
