P4-REQ-21-3-007

The Phase 0 Implementation Profile / PSM SHALL identify scripts as Phase 0 build, generation, execution, shutdown, cleanup, and workflow helpers.

Part 4, Section 21.3: Technology Selection Requirements.

Scripts make repeatable implementation activities explicit and controlled. Identifying scripts as implementation helpers establishes their role without allowing automation to become hidden architecture.

Scripts support implementation activities while remaining subordinate to the Phase 0 Implementation Profile and Developer Handbook.

This requirement applies to:

  • build-preparation scripts;
  • generation scripts;
  • execution and startup scripts;
  • shutdown scripts;
  • cleanup scripts; and
  • repository workflow scripts.

Verification SHALL confirm that Phase 0 scripts are identified as controlled implementation helpers.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • approved scripts have defined implementation purposes;
  • scripts identify their expected inputs and outputs;
  • scripts follow applicable Developer Handbook rules;
  • scripts affecting baseline artefacts are governed; and
  • scripts do not redefine logical elements or interaction patterns.

This requirement establishes the role of scripts within the controlled Phase 0 implementation workflow.
