P3-REQ-17-11-004

The FX Demo Logical Traceability Model SHALL define:

  • FX Node Traceability
  • FX Endpoint Traceability
  • FX Information Structure Traceability
  • FX Runtime Plane Traceability
  • FX Interaction Traceability
  • FX Evidence Traceability

Part 3, Section 17.11: FX Logical Traceability Requirements.

The FX Demo Logical Traceability Model is composed of multiple complementary traceability views that collectively establish architectural relationships across the logical profile. Each traceability category captures a distinct aspect of the logical architecture while preserving consistent governance, interoperability, evidence, and architectural meaning.

Defining these traceability categories enables complete architectural review without prescribing implementation-specific traceability repositories or tooling.

This requirement applies to the FX Demo Logical Traceability Model.

It applies specifically to:

  • logical traceability;
  • architectural governance;
  • profile management;
  • conformance assessment; and
  • derived Implementation Profiles.

Verification SHALL confirm that the FX Demo Logical Traceability Model defines all required traceability categories.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • each required traceability category is defined;
  • relationships between traceability categories are consistent;
  • traceability remains platform independent; and
  • implementation-specific traceability technologies are not prescribed.

This requirement defines the traceability capabilities established by the FX Demo Logical Traceability Model.
