P3-REQ-17-11-006
Statement
FX Endpoint Traceability SHALL relate an FX logical Communication Endpoint to inherited logical sources, conceptual sources, participating Nodes, Communication Roles, information structures, Runtime Plane classifications, governance constraints, and evidence expectations.
Source
Part 3, Section 17.11: FX Logical Traceability Requirements.
Rationale
Endpoint Traceability establishes the architectural lineage of each FX logical Communication Endpoint. Relating endpoints to their conceptual and logical origins, participating Nodes, Communication Roles, information structures, Runtime Plane classifications, governance constraints, and evidence expectations preserves interoperability and architectural consistency throughout the logical architecture.
Maintaining these relationships enables architectural review and impact analysis while remaining independent of implementation-specific communication technologies.
Applies To
This requirement applies to all FX logical Communication Endpoints within the FX Demo Logical Profile.
It applies specifically to:
-
Communication Endpoints;
-
participating Nodes;
-
Communication Roles;
-
Runtime Plane classifications;
-
governance constraints; and
-
derived Implementation Profiles.
Verification
Verification SHALL confirm that each FX logical Communication Endpoint maintains the required traceability relationships.
Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:
-
conceptual and logical source relationships are identified;
-
participating Nodes and Communication Roles are identified;
-
information structures and Runtime Plane classifications are traceable; and
-
governance constraints and evidence expectations are represented.
Traceability
This requirement establishes traceability for FX logical Communication Endpoints.
