P4-REQ-21-15-008
Statement
The Part 5 handoff SHALL identify repository organization.
Source
Part 4, Section 21.15: Part 5 Handoff Requirements.
Rationale
Part 5 requires a clear understanding of where approved implementation artifacts, generated artifacts, configuration, scripts, documentation, and supporting material reside.
Including repository organization in the handoff allows deployment and evidence activities to use governed baseline artifacts without confusing them with temporary, local, or non-baseline material.
Applies To
This requirement applies to:
-
governed source locations;
-
generated-code locations;
-
configuration locations;
-
script locations;
-
documentation and traceability locations; and
-
applicable build and non-baseline locations.
Verification
Verification SHALL confirm that the Part 5 handoff identifies the repository organization applicable to the Phase 0 baseline.
Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:
-
required artifact locations are identifiable;
-
baseline artifacts can be distinguished from non-baseline material;
-
generated and configuration locations are identifiable; and
-
Part 5 can locate approved inputs without redefining repository structure.
Traceability
This requirement carries the Part 4 Repository and Build Artifact Model into Part 5.
