Part 4, Section 21.10: Repository and Build Artifact Requirements.
Rationale
A defined repository and build artifact model establishes how Phase 0 implementation artifacts are organized, generated, reviewed, and distinguished within the implementation baseline.
The model supports repeatability, governance, traceability, and review by assigning implementation artifact categories to controlled repository locations and build processes.

This requirement applies to:
-
the Phase 0 repository structure;
-

-
generated artifacts;
-
build artifacts;
-
configuration and script artifacts; and
-

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:
-
repository artifact categories are defined;
-
artifact locations are identified;
-
governed, generated, temporary, and non-baseline material are distinguishable; and
-
repository and build organization supports Phase 0 review and traceability.
