P4-REQ-21-12-012
Statement
Scripts SHALL NOT redefine FX logical Nodes, FX logical Communication Endpoints, FX logical interaction patterns, Runtime Planes, or governance relationships.
Source
Part 4, Section 21.12: Script and Execution Requirements.
Rationale
Scripts are implementation-support mechanisms. They may prepare, generate, start, stop, coordinate, or clean implementation artifacts, but they do not define architectural meaning.
This constraint prevents automation and execution procedures from becoming hidden architectural definitions or altering logical responsibilities without governance.
Applies To
This requirement applies to:
-
Phase 0 scripts;
-
startup and shutdown procedures;
-
generation procedures;
-
workflow automation;
-
repository automation; and
-
execution helpers.
Verification
Verification SHALL confirm that Phase 0 scripts do not redefine logical or governance elements.
Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:
-
FX logical Node definitions remain governed by Part 3;
-
Communication Endpoint definitions remain governed by Part 3;
-
logical interaction patterns remain governed by Part 3;
-
Runtime Plane distinctions remain unchanged by script behavior; and
-
governance relationships are not altered by uncontrolled automation.
Traceability
This requirement preserves separation between Part 3 architectural definitions and the Phase 0 scripts that support implementation activity.
