P4-REQ-21-12-011

Scripts that affect baseline artifacts, generated artifacts, runtime execution, repository state, or traceability SHALL follow the Developer Handbook and repository workflow.

Part 4, Section 21.12: Script and Execution Requirements.

Scripts can make consequential changes to the Phase 0 implementation baseline. Those changes must remain subject to the same development and repository governance that applies to other controlled implementation activities.

Requiring compliance with the Developer Handbook and repository workflow prevents automation from bypassing review, generation, traceability, or baseline controls.

This requirement applies to:

  • baseline-affecting scripts;
  • generation scripts;
  • execution scripts;
  • repository-modifying scripts;
  • cleanup scripts; and
  • scripts affecting traceability.

Verification SHALL confirm that scripts affecting the Phase 0 baseline or implementation state follow applicable Developer Handbook and repository workflow rules.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • applicable script headers and usage rules are followed;
  • repository modifications conform to workflow;
  • generated artifacts follow generation rules;
  • execution effects are controlled and reviewable; and
  • traceability-affecting changes are recorded.

This requirement connects baseline-affecting script activity to the Phase 0 Developer Handbook and repository governance model.
