P4-REQ-21-11-009

The Developer Handbook SHALL define repository workflow requirements.

Part 4, Section 21.11: Developer Handbook Requirements.

Repository workflow requirements control how implementation artifacts enter, change within, and leave the Phase 0 implementation baseline.

Defined workflow protects the baseline from uncontrolled prototype code and preserves distinctions among governed source, generated artifacts, temporary material, local developer artifacts, and non-baseline material.

This requirement applies to:

  • repository contributions;
  • generated artifacts;
  • configuration and IDL changes;
  • scripts;
  • temporary and local artifacts; and
  • review and contribution workflow.

Verification SHALL confirm that the Developer Handbook defines repository workflow requirements.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • approved repository structure is addressed;
  • baseline and non-baseline material are addressed;
  • generated artifact handling is addressed;
  • review and contribution conventions are addressed; and
  • cleanup and exclusion rules are addressed.

This requirement establishes the repository workflow discipline used to protect the Phase 0 implementation baseline.
