P2-REQ-16-8-002

The Logical Governance Model SHALL define Logical Ownership of Definitions, Logical Versioning, Logical Compatibility, Logical Change Control, Logical Admission Rules, and Logical Policy Constraints.

Part 2, Section 16.8: Logical Governance Requirements.

The Logical Governance Model is composed of complementary governance capabilities that collectively preserve the integrity, consistency, and evolution of the Logical Architecture. Defining these governance elements establishes a common framework for ownership, compatibility, change management, admission, and policy across all logical elements.

This requirement applies to the Logical Governance Model.

It applies specifically to:

  • Logical Ownership of Definitions;
  • Logical Versioning;
  • Logical Compatibility;
  • Logical Change Control;
  • Logical Admission Rules; and
  • Logical Policy Constraints.

Verification SHALL confirm that the Logical Governance Model defines each required governance capability.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • each governance capability is explicitly defined;
  • governance responsibilities are complete;
  • governance capabilities remain platform independent; and
  • later profiles preserve the Logical Governance Model.

This requirement supports traceability between the Logical Governance Model and its constituent governance capabilities.
