P4-REQ-21-6-001

The Phase 0 Implementation Profile / PSM SHALL map selected FX logical information structures to IDL structures and generated types.

Part 4, Section 21.6: Information Structure Mapping Requirements.

Explicit mapping from FX logical information structures to IDL structures and generated types preserves the relationship between logical information meaning and its selected Phase 0 implementation representation.

Without this mapping, implementation data representations could become disconnected from the logical structures that justify them.

This requirement applies to:

  • selected FX logical information structures;
  • Phase 0 IDL structures;
  • generated types; and
  • information-structure traceability records.

Verification SHALL confirm that selected FX logical information structures are mapped to Phase 0 IDL structures and generated types.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • selected logical information structures have identified IDL mappings;
  • generated types derive from the applicable IDL structures;
  • mappings are documented and reviewable; and
  • implementation data representations remain traceable to their logical sources.

This requirement establishes forward traceability from Part 3 FX logical information structures to their Phase 0 implementation representations.
