15.7 Logical Architecture Does Not Prescribe Deployment Topology

Go To Top

The Logical Architecture / PIM defines logical structure, not deployment topology.

It does not prescribe centralised deployment, federated deployment, colocated execution, distributed execution, cloud deployment, on-premises deployment, hybrid deployment, multi-jurisdiction deployment, Kubernetes deployment, container deployment, or single-machine execution.

Deployment profiles define topology for a specific environment. Those deployment choices realize the Logical Architecture under selected operational constraints. They do not redefine Logical Nodes, Logical Communication Endpoints, Logical Runtime Planes, or Logical Data Structure Definitions.
