P4-REQ-21-12-003
Statement
Each approved script SHALL identify its expected inputs.
Source
Part 4, Section 21.12: Script and Execution Requirements.
Rationale
Explicit input expectations make script prerequisites and execution conditions reviewable and repeatable.
Identifying required files, configuration, arguments, environment context, or other inputs reduces ambiguous execution and helps prevent uncontrolled changes to the Phase 0 baseline.
Applies To
This requirement applies to:
-
approved scripts;
-
script arguments;
-
configuration inputs;
-
repository inputs; and
-
environment prerequisites.
Verification
Verification SHALL confirm that each approved script identifies its expected inputs.
Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:
-
required inputs are documented;
-
prerequisite files or configuration are identified;
-
required arguments are identified where applicable; and
-
missing inputs result in controlled failure where appropriate.
Traceability
This requirement establishes the input expectations required for repeatable Phase 0 script execution.
