P4-REQ-21-8-007

Each interaction realization SHALL identify the expected processing outcome.

Part 4, Section 21.8: Interaction Pattern Realization Requirements.

An interaction realization must define the expected result of its implementation processing so that execution can be evaluated against the intended logical behavior.

Explicit processing outcomes support implementation review, troubleshooting, later testability, observation, and evidence collection.

This requirement applies to:

  • Phase 0 interaction realizations;
  • implementation processing flows;
  • status and result outputs;
  • validation outcomes; and
  • later testability planning.

Verification SHALL confirm that each interaction realization identifies its expected processing outcome.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • successful outcomes are identifiable;
  • relevant unsuccessful or exceptional outcomes are identifiable;
  • outcomes correspond to the applicable logical interaction; and
  • outcomes can be observed or reviewed where required.

This requirement connects Phase 0 implementation processing outcomes to the logical interaction behavior they realize.
