P4-REQ-21-2-003

The Phase 0 Implementation Profile / PSM SHALL preserve traceability to the Part 1 Conceptual Architecture, the Part 2 Distributed Node-Based Logical Architecture / PIM, and the Part 3 FX Demo Logical Profile.

Part 4, Section 21.2: Phase 0 Profile Requirements.

Phase 0 is part of a layered architectural progression. Preserving traceability to Parts 1, 2, and 3 ensures that implementation decisions remain connected to their conceptual, logical, and FX-specific logical sources.

This traceability allows reviewers to determine how Phase 0 implementation choices derive from and remain consistent with the preceding architectural layers.

This requirement applies to:

  • Phase 0 implementation mappings;
  • implementation artefacts;
  • implementation traceability records;
  • implementation governance; and
  • architectural review of the Phase 0 baseline.

Verification SHALL confirm that the Phase 0 Implementation Profile / PSM preserves traceability through Parts 1, 2, and 3.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • Phase 0 implementation artefacts trace to applicable Part 3 elements;
  • applicable Part 3 elements retain their Part 2 logical traceability;
  • applicable Part 2 elements retain their Part 1 conceptual traceability; and
  • implementation mappings do not break the established architectural traceability chain.

This requirement preserves the architectural traceability chain from conceptual architecture through logical architecture and the FX Demo Logical Profile to Phase 0 implementation.
