P3-REQ-17-7-002

The FX Demo Logical Profile SHALL use the following FX Runtime Planes:

  • Logical Control Plane
  • Logical Data Plane
  • Logical Health and Observability Plane
  • Logical Policy and Release Plane
  • Logical Audit and Provenance Plane

Part 3, Section 17.7: FX Runtime Plane Requirements.

The defined FX Runtime Planes establish the logical architectural separation of concerns required for the Foreign Exchange Domain. Each Runtime Plane represents a distinct architectural responsibility while collectively supporting coordination, information exchange, governance, observability, auditability, and operational management.

Using a standardized set of Runtime Planes ensures consistency across logical architecture, enables interoperability, and allows multiple Implementation Profiles to realize the same architectural organization while preserving architectural meaning.

This requirement applies to the definition, review, maintenance, and evolution of the FX Demo Logical Profile.

It applies specifically to:

  • Runtime Plane definitions;
  • logical architecture organization;
  • architectural governance;
  • Domain Logical Profiles; and
  • derived Implementation Profiles.

Verification SHALL confirm that every required FX Runtime Plane is defined.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • each required Runtime Plane is present;
  • Runtime Plane names are consistent with the architectural specification;
  • no required Runtime Plane is omitted; and
  • each Runtime Plane is uniquely identifiable.

This requirement establishes the Runtime Plane inventory for the FX Demo Logical Profile.
