P3-REQ-17-7-004

The Logical Data Plane SHALL carry FX domain, analytical, lifecycle, validation, interpretation, and derived information among FX logical Nodes.

Part 3, Section 17.7: FX Runtime Plane Requirements.

The Logical Data Plane provides the architectural capability for exchanging the logical information required to support Foreign Exchange processing. It enables the movement of domain information, analytical results, lifecycle information, validation results, semantic interpretations, and derived information among FX logical Nodes while remaining independent of implementation technologies and deployment mechanisms.

Separating logical information exchange into the Logical Data Plane preserves architectural separation of concerns by distinguishing business information movement from operational coordination, governance, observability, and audit activities.

This requirement applies to the Logical Data Plane defined by the FX Demo Logical Profile.

It applies specifically to:

  • logical information exchange;
  • Runtime Plane architecture;
  • logical communication;
  • architectural governance; and
  • derived Implementation Profiles.

Verification SHALL confirm that the Logical Data Plane carries the logical information required among FX logical Nodes.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • logical information exchanges are identified;
  • supported information categories are represented;
  • logical information movement is separated from other Runtime Plane responsibilities; and
  • implementation technologies are not prescribed.

This requirement defines the architectural responsibility of the Logical Data Plane within the FX Runtime Plane model.
