P3-REQ-17-8-007
Statement
Cash-flow computation triggers SHALL identify the logical conditions that initiate computation of FX Cash-Flow Obligations.
Source
Part 3, Section 17.8: FX Lifecycle Requirements.
Rationale
Cash-flow obligations are produced only when the logical conditions defined by the FX lifecycle have been satisfied. Identifying the logical conditions that initiate cash-flow computation ensures that obligation generation is governed by the architectural lifecycle rather than by implementation-specific execution models, scheduling mechanisms, or processing technologies.
Maintaining explicit computation triggers supports consistent lifecycle behaviour, architectural governance, traceability, and interoperability while preserving platform independence across different Implementation Profiles.
Applies To
This requirement applies to every logical cash-flow computation trigger defined by the FX Demo Logical Profile.
It applies specifically to:
-
cash-flow computation;
-
lifecycle progression;
-
logical transaction processing;
-
architectural governance; and
-
derived Implementation Profiles.
Verification
Verification SHALL confirm that logical conditions initiating FX Cash-Flow Obligation computation are explicitly identified.
Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:
-
computation triggers are identified;
-
initiating logical conditions are defined;
-
cash-flow computation occurs only after the required lifecycle conditions have been satisfied; and
-
implementation-specific computation mechanisms are not prescribed.
Traceability
This requirement establishes the logical conditions governing FX Cash-Flow Obligation computation within the FX lifecycle model.
