8.13 FX Replay and Reconstruction Node Mapping
Go To Mapping from FX Logical Nodes to Implementation Artifacts
The FX Replay and Reconstruction Node maps to the Phase 0 implementation artifact that supports replay or reconstruction from preserved records.
The implementation artifact performs the Replay and Reconstruction Role. It consumes implementation representations of an FX Replay Request and relevant audit/provenance records, reconstructs selected information or lineage, and produces an implementation representation of an FX Replay Result.
Table 8-11: FX Replay and Reconstruction Node implementation mapping.
| Mapping Concern | Phase 0 Implementation Treatment |
|---|---|
| FX logical Node | FX Replay and Reconstruction Node |
| Primary Node Role | Replay and Reconstruction Role |
| Primary Runtime Plane | FX Logical Audit and Provenance Plane |
| Supporting Runtime Planes | FX Logical Control Plane; FX Logical Data Plane |
| Primary implementation responsibility | Replay or reconstruct selected FX information from preserved records. |
| Primary DDS interactions | Subscribe to the DDS Topic that realizes the FX Replay Request Endpoint; publish to the DDS Topic that realizes the FX Replay Result Endpoint. |
| Primary data artifacts | IDL and generated types representing the FX Replay Request and the FX Replay Result. |
| Supporting artifacts | Replay helper module, reconstruction helper module, audit/provenance access helpers, logging helper, and traceability metadata. |
| Traceability expectation | Implementation artifact traces to the FX Replay and Reconstruction Node, Replay and Reconstruction Role, FX Replay Request Endpoint, FX Replay Result Endpoint, FX Replay Request, and FX Replay Result. |
