12.9 Request FX Policy Decision

Go To FX Demo Logical Interaction Patterns

The Request FX Policy Decision pattern requests governed evaluation of FX information before access, disclosure, safeguarding, redaction, transformation, marking, obligation assignment, or release.

The requesting FX logical Node identifies the information subject to evaluation, the intended recipient, the purpose, the requested handling action, the policy context, the classification or marking context, the source information references, and the provenance reference.

The FX Policy and Release Node evaluates the request and produces an FX Policy Decision.

The interaction belongs primarily to the Logical Policy and Release Plane. It also connects to the Logical Data Plane when the request concerns FX domain information, and to the Logical Audit and Provenance Plane when the FX Demo records policy request, decision, rationale, and obligations.
