Each interaction realization SHALL identify the IDL structures and generated types exchanged.

Part 4, Section 21.8: Interaction Pattern Realization Requirements.

Interaction realizations depend on defined implementation data representations. Identifying the applicable IDL structures and generated types allows reviewers to understand the information representation used at each exchange.

This supports data compatibility, generation review, and end-to-end traceability from interaction behavior to logical information structures.

This requirement applies to:

• IDL structures;
• generated types;
• DDS Topic exchanges;
• producing participants; and
• consuming participants.

Verification SHALL confirm that each interaction realization identifies the IDL structures and generated types exchanged.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

• applicable IDL structures are identified;
• generated types are identified;
• generated types derive from the applicable IDL structures; and
• exchange mappings agree with applicable DDS Topics.

This requirement connects interaction realizations to the Phase 0 information-structure mappings used by their exchanges.
