FR-DEP-001 — Deploy Infrastructure Resources

Crucible SHALL deploy Infrastructure Resources.

This requirement derives from:

• Crucible System Requirements Specification, Version 1.1 Draft, Functional Requirements, FR-DEP-001

The Original Requirement states:

The system shall deploy infrastructure resources.[C1]

FR-DEP-001:

• Replaces The system with the defined system name Crucible
• Changes shall to the established uppercase normative form SHALL
• Links Infrastructure Resources to the controlling definition

No other substantive normalization is required.

Infrastructure Resources provide the compute, storage, networking, security, identity, and supporting capabilities required by infrastructure.

Deploying Infrastructure Resources enables Crucible to realize infrastructure definitions through separately governed deployment workflows.

This requirement establishes the deployment behavior without prescribing:

• The Infrastructure Resources included in a particular deployment
• The target environment
• The deployment platform
• The deployment tool
• The deployment sequence
• Deployment validation
• Deployment rollback
• Compliance assessment

Separate requirements define those subjects and behaviors.

This requirement applies to:

• Crucible
• Infrastructure Resources
• Infrastructure Deployment

Verification confirms that:

1. One or more Infrastructure Resources are selected for deployment
2. Crucible executes a deployment operation for the selected Infrastructure Resources
3. The completed deployment produces the selected Infrastructure Resources
4. The resulting Infrastructure Resources can be identified as outputs of the tested deployment
