P4-REQ-21-4-011
Statement
Runtime packaging SHALL NOT redefine FX logical Nodes or FX logical Node Roles.
Source
Part 4, Section 21.4: Logical Node Mapping Requirements.
Rationale
Runtime packaging determines how logical responsibilities are grouped into implementation processes, modules, or other runtime participants. It is an implementation decision rather than a logical architectural definition.
Preventing runtime packaging from redefining Nodes or Node Roles preserves the authority of the Part 3 FX Demo Logical Profile and allows implementation packaging to change without altering logical meaning.
Applies To
This requirement applies to:
-
runtime processes;
-
implementation modules;
-
runtime participants;
-
implementation node mappings; and
-
process or service packaging decisions.
Verification
Verification SHALL confirm that runtime packaging does not redefine FX logical Nodes or FX logical Node Roles.
Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:
-
runtime process boundaries are treated as implementation boundaries;
-
logical Node definitions remain governed by Part 3;
-
Node Roles remain unchanged by packaging decisions;
-
one-to-many and many-to-one implementation mappings remain explicit; and
-
changes in runtime packaging do not silently change logical responsibilities.
Traceability
This requirement preserves separation between the logical Node architecture defined in Part 3 and the runtime packaging selected by the Phase 0 Implementation Profile / PSM.
