P4-REQ-21-4-009
Statement
The Phase 0 Implementation Profile / PSM SHALL allow one implementation artefact to realise more than one FX logical Node when the mapping records that choice.
Source
Part 4, Section 21.4: Logical Node Mapping Requirements.
Rationale
Logical decomposition and runtime packaging are separate architectural concerns. A Phase 0 implementation may package responsibilities associated with several FX logical Nodes into one implementation artefact without changing the logical architecture.
Allowing this mapping provides implementation flexibility while requiring the relationship to remain explicit and reviewable.
Applies To
This requirement applies to:
-
implementation node artefacts;
-
runtime participants;
-
multi-Node implementation mappings; and
-
node traceability records.
Verification
Verification SHALL confirm that one implementation artefact may realize multiple FX logical Nodes when that mapping is explicitly recorded.
Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:
-
every realized FX logical Node is identified;
-
responsibilities remain distinguishable;
-
traceability to each applicable Node is preserved; and
-
the implementation choice does not redefine the logical Node boundaries.
Traceability
This requirement preserves the distinction between logical Node decomposition and implementation packaging.
