P4-REQ-21-13-011
Statement
Implementation governance SHALL preserve the relationship between the FX Demo Logical Profile and the Phase 0 implementation artifacts that realize it.
Source
Part 4, Section 21.13: Implementation Governance Requirements.
Rationale
The Phase 0 implementation exists to realize selected elements of the FX Demo Logical Profile. Governance must therefore protect the relationship between logical definitions and their implementation artifacts throughout review, versioning, change, generation, and baseline acceptance.
Without this preservation, implementation decisions could become detached from or silently alter their logical sources.
Applies To
This requirement applies to:
-
implementation mappings;
-
implementation artifacts;
-
DDS Topic mappings;
-
IDL and generated-type mappings;
-
Runtime Plane and interaction mappings; and
-
implementation traceability records.
Verification
Verification SHALL confirm that implementation governance preserves the relationship between the FX Demo Logical Profile and Phase 0 implementation artifacts.
Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:
-
implementation artifacts retain identifiable logical sources;
-
changes preserve or explicitly update mappings;
-
versioning does not break logical-to-implementation relationships;
-
compatibility review considers logical meaning; and
-
baseline acceptance requires applicable traceability.
Traceability
This requirement preserves continuity between Part 3 FX logical definitions and the Phase 0 implementation baseline governed by Part 4.
