P3-REQ-17-2-003

The FX Demo Logical Profile SHALL preserve the Part 2 Logical Architecture / PIM.

Part 3, Section 17.2: FX Domain Profile Requirements.

The Part 2 Logical Architecture / PIM defines the reusable, platform-independent logical architecture that serves as the parent for all Domain Logical Profiles. Preserving the Part 2 Logical Architecture ensures that the FX Demo Logical Profile remains compatible with the common logical model while allowing domain-specific specialization.

Maintaining this architectural relationship promotes consistency across Domain Logical Profiles and enables reusable governance, traceability, implementation profiles, deployment plans, and evidence plans.

This requirement applies to the definition, review, maintenance, interpretation, and evolution of the FX Demo Logical Profile.

It applies specifically to:

  • logical architectural specialization;
  • the definition of FX logical Nodes and related logical elements;
  • architectural conformance reviews; and
  • Implementation Profiles derived from the FX Demo Logical Profile.

Verification SHALL confirm that the FX Demo Logical Profile preserves the logical structure and architectural constraints established by the Part 2 Logical Architecture / PIM.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • the parent Logical Architecture is explicitly identified;
  • platform-independent logical concepts remain unchanged;
  • no conflicting logical architectural structures are introduced; and
  • all FX-specific logical elements remain consistent with the inherited Logical Architecture.

This requirement supports traceability between the Part 2 Logical Architecture / PIM and the FX Demo Logical Profile.
