The Audit and Provenance Plane SHALL support auditability, provenance, lineage, reconstruction, and defensibility.

Part 1, Section 13.5: Runtime Plane Requirements.

The Audit and Provenance Plane provides the conceptual runtime plane for auditability, provenance, lineage, reconstruction, and defensibility. It separates evidentiary and reconstruction concerns from operational coordination, data exchange, health observation, and policy release.

This requirement supports later evidence, audit, and provenance mechanisms while preserving the conceptual purpose of the plane.

This requirement applies to Audit and Provenance Plane definitions and references within the Conceptual Architecture.

Verification SHALL confirm that the Audit and Provenance Plane supports auditability, provenance, lineage, reconstruction, and defensibility.
