This section defines how the team uses DDS, IDL, and type generation in the Phase 0 Baseline. DDS provides the publish/subscribe communication substrate. IDL provides governed type definitions. Type generation projects those definitions into language-specific implementation Artifacts that Nodes use to publish, subscribe, serialize, deserialize, and validate topic Data.
