20.5 Generated Types Do Not Redefine Logical Information Structures

Go To Top

Return to Phase 0 Implementation Rules and Constraints

A generated type realises an implementation-language representation of an IDL structure.

The generated type supports publication, subscription, processing, Validation, recording, replay, or other implementation activity. It does not redefine the IDL structure or the FX logical information structure represented by the IDL structure.

Generated types must remain Traceable to their source IDL structures and related FX logical information structures. Generated files must follow the generated-file rules defined by the Phase 0 Developer Handbook.
