16.6 Node Execution
Go To Phase 0 Script and Execution Model
Phase 0 may include scripts that start individual implementation participants.
A node execution script starts a selected implementation participant, applies required configuration, identifies the FX logical Node or Node Role being realized, and records startup information according to the Phase 0 logging and health-reporting conventions.
A node execution script should identify:
-
Implementation participant to start
-
FX logical Node or Node Role realized by that participant
-
Required configuration file or configuration source
-
Required DDS Topic or QoS configuration context
-
Required generated types
-
Expected startup status
-
Expected logging behavior
-
Expected status-reporting behavior
-
Error-handling behavior when startup fails
The script does not redefine the implementation participant or the FX logical Node. It starts the selected artifact according to the implementation baseline.
