P4-REQ-21-7-003

The Phase 0 Implementation Profile / PSM SHALL define Data Plane realization for FX transaction, validation, semantic, contract state, and cash-flow information exchange.

Part 4, Section 21.7: Runtime Plane Realization Requirements.

The Data Plane carries the structured FX information needed to demonstrate the Phase 0 processing path.

Defining a Data Plane realization ensures that transaction, validation, semantic, contract state, and cash-flow information exchanges have an explicit implementation mapping while preserving their logical meaning.

This requirement applies to:

  • Data Plane DDS Topics;
  • transaction information;
  • validation information;
  • semantic information;
  • contract state information;
  • cash-flow information; and
  • applicable publishers and subscribers.

Verification SHALL confirm that the Phase 0 Implementation Profile / PSM defines a Data Plane realization for the specified FX information exchanges.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

  • applicable Data Plane Topics are identified;
  • applicable information structures are mapped;
  • producing and consuming participants are identified;
  • Data Plane exchanges support the Phase 0 processing path; and
  • Data Plane concerns remain distinct from other Runtime Plane concerns.

This requirement establishes the Phase 0 realization of the FX Logical Data Plane.
