Each DDS Topic mapping SHALL identify the producing FX logical Node or Node Role.

Part 4, Section 21.5: Communication Endpoint Mapping Requirements.

Identifying the producing Node or Node Role makes the source responsibility for each DDS exchange explicit.

This preserves the logical allocation of publication responsibility and allows reviewers to confirm that the implementation producer corresponds to the applicable Part 3 definition.

This requirement applies to:

• DDS Topic mappings;
• producing implementation participants;
• FX logical Nodes;
• FX logical Node Roles; and
• publication mappings.

Verification SHALL confirm that each DDS Topic mapping identifies the producing FX logical Node or Node Role.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

• the producing logical responsibility is explicitly identified;
• the implementation publisher maps to the identified Node or Node Role;
• producer responsibility agrees with Part 3; and
• publication responsibility remains traceable.

This requirement connects DDS publication responsibility to the applicable FX logical Node or Node Role.
