P3-REQ-17-9-008
Statement
Each FX logical interaction pattern SHALL identify traceability expectations.
Source
Part 3, Section 17.9: FX Logical Interaction Requirements.
Rationale
Traceability enables every FX logical interaction to be related to the architectural concepts, logical information structures, Runtime Planes, lifecycle states, governance decisions, and evidence that support it. Identifying traceability expectations for each interaction pattern preserves architectural consistency, supports lifecycle analysis, enables conformance assessment, and facilitates interoperability while remaining independent of implementation technologies.
Maintaining explicit traceability expectations also enables multiple Implementation Profiles to preserve architectural relationships using different implementation approaches.
Applies To
This requirement applies to every FX logical interaction pattern defined by the FX Demo Logical Profile.
It applies specifically to:
-
architectural traceability;
-
logical interaction architecture;
-
lifecycle governance;
-
conformance assessment; and
-
derived Implementation Profiles.
Verification
Verification SHALL confirm that every FX logical interaction pattern identifies its traceability expectations.
Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:
-
traceability expectations are defined;
-
architectural relationships can be followed;
-
traceability supports lifecycle governance; and
-
implementation-specific traceability tools are not prescribed.
Traceability
This requirement establishes traceability expectations for FX logical interaction patterns.
