10.6 Issue Control Command
The Issue Control Command pattern allows a Logical Node to request or direct operational action by another Logical Node or Logical Node Role.
A command-producing Logical Node issues a Logical Command through a Logical Communication Endpoint. The command identifies the intended action, target Logical Node or role, command identifier, timestamp, expected acknowledgement, authorizing condition, and Traceability expectations.
The interaction belongs primarily to the Logical Control Plane. It also supports the Logical Audit and Provenance Plane by recording command issuance for review or Evidence.
Table 10-5: Issue Control Command logical interaction pattern
| Element | Logical treatment |
|---|---|
| Primary Runtime Plane | Logical Control Plane |
| Producing Logical Node Role | Command Producer, Control Node, Coordinator, or Operator-facing Node |
| Consuming Logical Node Role | Command Consumer, Managed Node, Worker Node, or Controlled Node |
| Primary information | Logical Command |
| Supporting information | Command identifier, target Node or role, intended action, timestamp, authorizing condition |
| Traceability expectation | Command traces to producing Logical Node, target Node or role, command definition, and authorizing condition. |
| Evidence expectation | Command record supports review of operational control and later reconstruction. |
