Logical Evidence Traceability SHALL relate logical elements and interactions to Evidence expectations for later realization, deployment, testing, and review.

Logical Evidence Traceability establishes the relationship between architectural definitions and the evidence expected to support them during later implementation, deployment, testing, and operational review. Identifying these relationships at the logical level preserves architectural intent while enabling consistent verification planning.

This requirement applies to Logical Evidence Traceability.

It applies specifically to:

• Logical elements;
• Logical Interaction Patterns;
• Evidence expectations;
• Deployment Profiles; and
• Testability and Evidence Plans.

Verification SHALL confirm that Logical Evidence Traceability relates logical elements and interactions to their Evidence expectations.

Verification activities should include review checks confirming that:

• Evidence expectations are explicitly identified;
• logical elements support later verification planning;
• traceability extends to deployment and testing; and
• Evidence expectations remain platform independent.

This requirement supports traceability between logical architecture and the evidence expected during later lifecycle activities.
