6.3 Relationship to Other OMG Specifications

The requested Reference Architecture operates at the architectural governance and structural abstraction layer.

The requested Reference Architecture complements existing OMG specifications that address information exchange, interoperability, semantic federation, and system modeling. It defines architectural separation, governance constructs, and conformance boundaries that are independent of specific transport, exchange, or modeling technologies.

The requested Reference Architecture does not replace, duplicate, or redefine transport protocols, exchange frameworks, semantic vocabularies, or domain modeling standards defined elsewhere within OMG.
