19.3 Implementation Artefacts Prepared for Deployment

Go To Top

Return to Relationship to Deployment, Testability, and Evidence Plan

Part 4 prepares implementation artefacts for Deployment by identifying their purpose, location, Configuration needs, runtime role, Dependencies, and Traceability relationships.

Implementation artefacts prepared for Deployment include:

  1. Implementation Node modules
  2. Process entry points
  3. DDS Topic mappings
  4. IDL structures
  5. Generated types
  6. QoS profiles
  7. Configuration artefacts
  8. Scripts
  9. Repository artefacts
  10. Traceability artefacts

Part 5 uses those artefacts to define the Phase 0 Deployment approach. It identifies how the selected environment packages, starts, connects, monitors, and manages the implementation participants.

Part 4 therefore provides the Deployment input, while Part 5 defines the Deployment use.
