16.7 Multi-Node Startup

Go To Phase 0 Script and Execution Model

Phase 0 may include a multi-node startup script or equivalent controlled procedure.

The multi-node startup script starts a controlled set of implementation participants in an approved order or coordination pattern. It supports demonstration of the Phase 0 interaction baseline, such as node status reporting, transaction intake, validation, semantic interpretation, contract state processing, cash-flow computation, policy decision, release package preparation, audit/provenance recording, or replay/reconstruction.

The multi-node startup script should identify:

  1. Implementation participants included in the run
  2. FX logical Nodes or Node Roles those participants realize
  3. Startup order or coordination expectations
  4. Required configuration artifacts
  5. Required DDS Topic and QoS context
  6. Expected health and observability behavior
  7. Expected logging behavior
  8. Expected failure behavior
  9. Relationship to later Part 5 testability and evidence planning

The script supports repeatable execution. It does not replace deployment orchestration or runtime operations. Part 5 defines deployment and operational execution concerns.
