14.9 Traceability Artifact Model

Go To Phase 0 Repository and Build Artifact Model

The repository must contain or reference Traceability artifacts that connect Phase 0 implementation artifacts to the FX logical elements they realize or support.

Traceability artifacts may include mapping tables, file-header metadata, generated-file metadata, IDL comments, topic mapping tables, configuration metadata, script headers, review checklists, and implementation artifact indexes.

Traceability artifacts must support forward and backward review. A reviewer must be able to move from a Part 3 FX logical element to the Phase 0 implementation artifact that realizes it, and from a Phase 0 implementation artifact back to the Part 3 FX logical element or implementation concern that justifies it.
