12.7 Interpret FX Transaction Semantics
Go To Phase 0 Interaction Pattern Realization
The Interpret FX Transaction Semantics pattern realizes Phase 0 semantic interpretation of validated FX transaction information.
The implementation participant performing the Semantic Interpretation Role consumes the applicable validation and transaction information, applies the selected Phase 0 semantic interpretation approach, produces an FX Semantic Assertion, and publishes that assertion to the semantic assertion DDS Topic.
Table 12-5: Interpret FX Transaction Semantics implementation realization.
| Realization Concern | Phase 0 Implementation Treatment |
|---|---|
| FX logical interaction pattern | Interpret FX Transaction Semantics |
| Primary implementation participant | Semantic interpretation implementation participant |
| Primary Runtime Plane | FX Logical Data Plane |
| Supporting Runtime Planes | FX Logical Audit and Provenance Plane; FX Logical Policy and Release Plane, where semantic classification affects release |
| Input DDS Topics | Data.FX.ValidationResult and transaction-related Topics as required by Phase 0 |
| Output DDS Topic | Data.FX.SemanticAssertion |
| Primary IDL / generated types | FxValidationResult; FxTransactionCandidate or FxTransactionRecord, where implemented; FxSemanticAssertion |
| Expected processing outcome | Implementation publishes a semantic assertion with source, version, interpretation context, input reference, producing participant, and timestamp. |
| Logging and exception handling | Missing semantic reference, interpretation failure, unsupported classification, publication failure, and retry conditions follow the logging and exception-handling baseline. |
| Audit and provenance expectation | Semantic interpretation records preserve semantic source, semantic version, input reference, interpretation context, producing participant, and timestamp. |
| Traceability expectation | Interaction traces to FX Semantic Interpretation Node, Semantic Interpretation Role, FX Semantic Interpretation Endpoint, FX Semantic Assertion, and implementation participant. |
